Namsan tower(N Tower) love lock(남산타워 사랑의 자물쇠)
The Love lock (pictured) appeared on top of Namsan in the winter of 2005, right after CJ Group leased Namsan Tower from YTN and renovated the entire tower. It was immediately after Namsan Tower was renamed ‘Seoul N Tower’ and young dating groups continued to visit. Suddenly, young lovers and couples visited this place, and the locked locks increased in an instant. It is an item with a history of about 15 years.
These love locks were famous before, but there was an incident that made them even more famous. It also became a topic of discussion while appearing on several TV shows. For example, it was introduced in a virtual marriage program called “We Got Married.” It became even more famous after Alex & Shin-ae and Nichkhun & Victoria went on the show.
Perhaps because the program was popular abroad at the time, you can see locks written in various languages.
