N tower tells you if Seoul air is good or bad (air pollution information 미세먼지)

Namsan Seoul Tower brightens the city center with colorful lights! In order to quickly and easily inform citizens of air pollution information, the Seoul Metropolitan Government displays the pollution level with this light from Namsan Seoul Tower.

Since May 2011, Seoul city has been implementing a service that displays the level of pollution with the light of Namsan Seoul Tower in order to quickly inform citizens of the level of air pollution.

Seoul receives different light depending on the air condition

  1. Blue light when fine dust concentration is 0~15㎍/㎥ in the 'good' level
  2. Green light when the fine dust concentration is in the 'normal' level of 16~35㎍/㎥
  3. Yellow light at the 'bad' stage of 36~75㎍ /m3
  4. Red light appears at the 'bad' stage of 75㎍/m3 or more

The air pollution warning light of Namsan Seoul Tower is not turned on during the day, and the service is operated from after sunset to 10 pm and from April to September until 11 pm. On a red light day, an ultrafine dust advisory is issued, so you should refrain from going out and be more careful about your health.
